Tanzanite Ring – Masai Blue

A country adjacent to the Indian Ocean is the place of its origin. In an area, only 2.5 miles x 1.2 miles (4km x 2km), these treasures are mined up to ~3,900 ft. (1,200 meters) below the surface. It is one of the biggest treasures Tanzania has to offer. Discovered in 1967, by a man belonging to the indigenous tribe Masai, tanzanite became one of the most sought-after gemstones the world has to offer.
